A soft mesh upper and new heel shape give comfort that is only improved by the improved sockliner. A more supportive tongue wing construction helps improve the fit.

Underfoot in the GT-1000 12 LITERUSS technology is used on the inside angle of the midsole to help reduce pronation. FLYTEFOAM cushioning gives a lightweight impact absorption, while rearfoot Gel gives a softer feel at heel strike and absorbs impact energy.

The GTX Version uses a Gore-Tex lining in the upper for a waterproof and breathable finish.
